This comprehensive and differentiated lesson starts by asking students to list all the shapes they know. This will hopefully give you an idea of starting points to adapt the lesson accordingly. 2D are introduced in detail, and are followed by a "Who am I?" activity where students must match a description, name and diagram for 12 2D shapes. 3D shapes are introduced, along with properties (faces, edges and vertices) followed by a worksheet which extends to nets. Bingo is provided as a plenary to check shape names.
