Averages (Mode, Median and Mean) and Range

Two lessons on averages:

• The first just covers finding averages and the range from data sets, with a series of differentiated one-minute tasks and a cross number to tie everything together. It then moves onto comparing averages, including using the interquartile range and box plots, with a differentiated main task.

• The second uses bar modelling to calculate the mean of a subset, with clear steps and another differentiated main task.
